I seem to remember that you posted about using the interlocking rubber mats on your shop floor. Are they holding up well? Did you glue them down? How long have they been down? Any further comment would be appreciated.
I was thinking about doing a wood floor with 2X4’s and plywood over but I’m now leaning toward the rubber as quicker and cheaper. Quicker being the more important consideration. I feel motivated to work more in my shop instead of on it.
Thanks for sharing!

Something worth checking into if you wanna go with the rubber mats would be a gasket manufactorer. Years ago I worked in a furniture factory west of Portland and they had... oh gosh, how big were they... something like 4'x6' 1/2 or 3/8" thick rubber mats that they'd acquired cheaply from a Portland gasket maker named Industrial Gasket. I briefly worked for Industrial Gasket some years later, having gone to school from grade school thru high school with the sons of the owner. Anyway, these mats had a bajillion holes in them from where gaskets had been punched out. They didn't interlock but, they were heavy enough that they really didn't move on the concrete floor. I know that Industrial Gasket has at least a sales office in Seattle. They might have a shop up there too. If not there might be a competitor in the area.

Kevin,
Thanks, I'll scope that option out before I lay down rubber!
Enjoy!
