I am trying to find a good bookplans for the construction of flush mount kitchen cabinets. I have built 2 kitchens so far for friend a family, however they were cabinets with doors and drawers mounted over the face frames with knife hinges. I followed the directions of Jim Tolpin’s book, Building Tradional Cabinets, and it was a great help. I now would like to find a book exclusively on Flush mount cabinetry. I looked over the article in Fine Woodworking #136, by Bill Crozier giving instructions for flush mount cabinets but it does not give enough detail in such a short article. Does anyone out there know of a book about this topic. I am going to build my kitchen in a traditional shaker style out of Walnut and I would like some good hints to help me in my planning and construction.

lefty,
I could be wrong, but I doubt there's an entire book devoted to this subject. "Understanding Wood" by Bruce Hoadley is probably a more important read, as wood movement plays a factor in flush mounts.
I'd suggest a visit to the local library. "Building Kitchen Cabinets" by Cary is a good read.
