I have an 18″ bandsaw which is only is 2 y.o. Recently the rubber tire has been flying off the lower wheel.I have adjusted tension, speed and tracking and nothing helps. Someone suggested I contact cement the tire to the wheel. Is this okay? Or do I need a new tire ?

Like the tires on your car premature failure is not unknown (especially if your teenager drives the car). As long as the tire is not stretched bigger than the wheel contact cement would be OK Getting the tire on should require a bit of stretching and new ones are not expensive. They usually fail from age and now use. I usually get about a decade out of a set of tires on any of my saws.
