   Hi CRP... One step or two step footstool? Some of those new matresses are so high they come with a parachute! Let's see... basic one step footstool.... Top 9 x 14 , end 7 1/2h x 8 w, Stretchers 10 1/2 x 2 1/4. You now have the basic size, decide on a style and start cutting wood. Simple, isn't it! SawdustSteve

   In my prior life I spent a lot of time on the road, typically away for a week, sometimes two.  Came home one night, late.  SWMTMH was already in bed.  Me, not wishing to wake her, didn't turn on a light in the bedroom.  Damn near broke my neck when I went to sit on the mattress...  Whoomp!  Woke her up, then, I did. ;-)  My butt hurt for a week.  Finally had to get breathing apparatus as the air was so thin up on top.  ;-)
