What do you think of this format FWW has gone to? I think it stinks! I just viewed a picture of a guys clamp cart and had to scroll down to see it all. I mean there is a whole 2 inch viewing area, gimme a break. I prefer the format on Breaktime, a lot less clutter and more good stuff, like a bigger viewing area. Your thoughts?

If you want to see attached pictures bigger, don't just click the link. Right-click it, then select "Open in New Window" and you'll see those pictures as big as your computer will show 'em.
(This works on a PC with Internet Explorer, don't know how to do it on a Mac).
There's absolutely nothing new about that part of the format for Knots! As mentioned above, you can open images in a new widow. Also, if you want more room for the right-hand frame, you can move the border between RH and LH frames.
I virtually always open attachments in a new window. One never knows how well-edited a picture might be. Many members simply download straight from the camera and post. Others don't know or don't care to crop and resize anything before the post it. Such is life.
forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
That's another benefit I'd not considered. If you're on dial-up, opening in a new window lets the picture load, but you can still interact with the original window while the secondary window waits... and waits... and waits...My goal is for my work to outlast me. Expect my joinery to get simpler as time goes by.
Yep, I developed that habit while using dial-up. Back in those days, I was the self-appointed captain of the File Size Police, but must admit I've slacked off since converting to DSL.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
