I was just at Rocker (here in St. Louis) and they were having a sale which featured the Forrest Woodworker II blade for $89. A very good buy. I picked one up, even though I bought one a month ago.

That must be Rockler :-) $89 -- same price as direct from Forrest, but of course you save shipping. Don't get the 3 $5-sharpening coupons though. Still, it is a good deal for being able to pick it up locally! Unfortunately for moi, "locally" is a ferry ride away, at about $18 round trip. Boo hoo.

If you're serious about getting your hands on the Forrest blade during the sale, lemme know. I can run into town and pick one up and get it to you at the WW show in Oct.
I never turn down an excuse to visit the tool store!

Thanks Dennis! Can't make any decision right now, though. Am half-way through dumping about $1000 into new inventory for my retail (non-woodworking) store, and I'm not sure how long it'll take for it to start generating new sales. I'm in a wait-'n-see mode for new spending. Still collecting info on alternatives to Forrest, so that when I'm ready I can go for it (whatever It turns out to be, LOL).forestgirl -- Remembering the heroes and the victims
