I just wanted to pass the word to anyone who owns a Forrest saw blade and was a little reluctant to mail it back to Forrest to get sharpened, DON’T BE! I own the Woodworker II thin kerf 10″ blade for a few years now and the first time I got it sharpened, I took it to a local saw sharpening service. The result was good but they couldn’t reproduce the quality edge that originally came with the blade. So this time, I took a chance and mailed it back to Forrest. I didn’t call or email them first. I just went on their website, figured out how much it would cost, calculated the shipping and stuck a check in the box along with the blade. Less than a week later, the blade was back in my possession and now it cuts like a dream. It’s nice to know you can count on top notch service from companies like that nowadays.

They'll do a nice job mon non-Forrest blades as well.
Also, if they find a problem you didn't count on (like a busted tooth), they'll call you and discuss your options before they work on the blade.
Good company.

I was kinda wondering if they would sharpen non-Forrest blades. I'm sure I'll be sending them some more soon.
Thanks Mike
I could not agree more. I have been using their service for years.
Good to know. Thanks for passing that on.
I've been using their service off and on for years (more often on than off). Oh yeah sure I've tried others out but have always come back to Forrest.
I took my WWII to a local shop. It actually cut pretty well but they sure took alot off the top. It'd fit my circular if they sharpened it 3 or 4 more times! I ended up selling it and buying a new one...it's going back to Forrest when the time comes.
i agree took 2 of their blades there and 1 from another company ---blades were done in 1 week and they replace 1 tooth on the other companys blade --they also honored a couple of coupons that were about 3yrs old -- i brought my blades to them i live about 5 miles from the shop very nice people very nice
