Forrestgirl, Followup to Exploding Can?
Hello Forrestgirl,
I was wondering about “The Rest of The Story” concerning the exploding paint can? What was the rest of the story after it exploded in the fellow’s hand?
Thanks,
Bill

Hi, BilljustBill. I've run into the young man a few times at the store, but haven't talked to him specifically about the accident for awhile. My understanding is he has some permanent sight loss due to retinal damage, and has had to partner up with an attorney for compensation issues. Problem is, it was such an unusual incident, there's not much precedence to go on.
Next time I see him, I'll ask if he knows any more about why the can exploded in the first place!

Thank you for your update. Such an odd and unexpected accident inside the store had me wondering how things had gone. The eye damage is really bad.
With all those cans of spray paint and finishes, I'd like to hear what may have caused the accident.

I missed this thread about the exploding paint can. Can you post the link or thread number, please? Sounds interesting and frightening at the same time. Tom"Notice that at no time do my fingers leave my hand"
