Hi there
I am based in Florida and am in need of someone to make me some dove-tailed jointed simple frames. The rough sizes is 24 x 24 x 2 1/2. I need them in fine hardwoods. If you would be able to make these on a fairly regular basis then please get in contact. The frames must be perfectly square and not twisted. They are to sit flat against a wall with an 18 gauge metal face screwed not the frame. The joints will be on show so must be perfect. Either I or yourself could supply the wood. Oak to start with, progressing to more rare woods.
Thank you
Stuart

Could you provide a little more detail; for example how many do you need and how often? Are you looking for hand cut dovetails or cut wit a jig? What is the end product? Are you wanting a rabbet for the 18 gauge? Timeline? You never mentioned if you are willing to pay for anything other than the wood, are you? When you say frame with dove tails I am picturing something that looks kind of like a drawer with no bottom. Is that right? And lastly, do you want someone local or can they be made anywhere and shipped?
Yes I am willing to pay as I am selling the end product. The dovetail can be jig cut. The product is basically a clock. A piece of 18 gauge stainless steel screwed onto a frame. The mechanism is then placed into the box from behind and closed up. To start with I want probably 5, depending on sales the quantity could be anything! It must be flat and with high quality joints. The frame routered to accept the wood would be a fantastic idea. I could send a front to be fit in the frame, they are being manufactured in Miami.
Thanks Stuart
