I’m stumped as to the hardware to use to mounted a 3 way medice cabinet mirrors. All three mirrors are to open and the frame is to wrap around the outside edges. Is there any special hinge for pulling this off?
Please help

Hi John ,
On a tri- view medicine cabinet one way is to use overlay doors with 1 and a 1/2" stiles between them . With a standard Euro hinge and a 5/8" overlay , it will leave about a 1/4" between the doors . I place the mirrors flush to the edge of the doors they , open with adequate clearance and work fine .
good luck dusty
Thanks for your help. I've noticed online that some cabinets are built just the way you mentioned. I'm going top make a mock up this weekend and see how it turns out.
Thanks again.

I have built two such cabinets. I don't know what you mean when you write "frame is to wrap around the outside edges." My doors with mirrors overlaid a face frame. The hinges are knife-type which I cannot find in my WW Supply catalog. They are similar to their part no. 100-400 except that the fixed portion attaches to the face of the frame. I suspect that you can find them at Ace Hdw or Lowe's, etc. They have slotted holes for mounting which allow alignment. Once aligned, a screw thru a round hole fixes the hinges.

The Frame that wraps around the ouside edges is like a cabinet shaker style door frame. We want the hinges to be non visiable. Is that possible with knife style hinges? I can get them from Lee Valley if taht's the case.
Thanks for your input.
