   *One of the best places I have seen for free plans is at the Popular Mechanics magazine site: http://www.popularmechanics.comFrom the menu on the left, select "Home Improvement" and from there select either "Furniture Making" or "Workshop". Both have some great plans. There are some other useful project plans in some of the other sections as well. The furniture projects seem pretty top-notch, especially considering they are FREE.-CraigP.S. Some of the menu names given might be off a little, but they should be close enough to let you find your way.

   *Hey Bob, These folks are right about Popular Mechanics web site. It's got a lot. Here's a new one I found today:http://woodworking.8m.com It's new but they say it will be added more weekly.Just stay away from those that you have to email to get the so-called free plans. -Al
