   Find one you like, look it over to see how it was made, take some measurements, and make one! Not trying to be smart, but IMHO, that's the best way to learn.

   Plans? You don’t need no stinkin’ plans.  Just get some books on French furniture and draw up your own.   I have never purchased plans in 25 plus years of woodworking, it’s lots more fun that way.

   Try thumbing through some old copies of architechural digest get some ideas and start making some sawdust. have fun stay safe use safety glasses.
