I bought an Asturo WB spray gun that uses a compressor. http://www.spraygunworld.com/products/Asturo/WB%20Kit/IndexWBII%20PPS.html I am just looking to paint some old furniture and cabinet doors with latex paint. I am sure the asturo is a great gun, but I was feeling overwhelmed with getting it hooked up to the compressor correctly with the filter and regulator. I was wondering how hard it would be to get it to spray correctly.
Then I came across the Fuji Mini Mite 4 that has alot of great reviews. The guy I got the Asturo from says the asturo is a much better gun. But the Fuji seems much more manageable to me.
I am just looking for some neutral opinions on this. I think the guy who sold it to me may have reasons he wants to sell the asturo gun. Any advice would be appreciated. He says the fuji gun is heavier and the handle gets hot and it doesn’t spray as nice.
Still not sure what I should do here. Please help!

Fuji MM4
While I can not vouch for the performance or ease of use of the Asturo spray gun, I can tell you that I own the Fuji MM4 as my first and only spray system. I have used it extensively with oil based paint and Latex paint, and absolutely love it. It has a very fast learning curve, and with properly thinned paints, will leave you with a fantastic finish in no time. With the #4 needle and nozzel, I had best success with both oil based primers and waterbased latex thinning to approx. 30 sec. using the included Ford #4 viscosity cup.
