There is an article “Chair making simplified” FWW#166 December 2003 in where the dimension for the back post has been downscaled to I believe 1/4 inch squares I have tried to reproduce it following 1 inch grid paper and the result was first grader type of thing I don’t think I can do it My question is…. Have any of you be successful in transfering to a full size pattern the shape of the backpost for this chair? If so can I share it. Just in case my address is Cecilio Lecusay 15730 Gardenside Ln Tampa Fl 33624.
Thanks

Cecil, Take the original drawing to your local ilbrary and photo copy in the enlarged mode you need.
You'll wind up with several sections, but they can be taped together. I, used to take small drawn plans from magazines and soak them in cooking oil. and using a film projector, project the image on a large sheet of paper attached to a movie screen.
Some computer buffs make poster sized built up photos using a poster program. Ask around. Stein.
Thanks, I will give it my best try.
