This is an update to my Freud fusion blade. I had a chipped tooth, so I sent it back for repair and I just received a new blade from Freud today.
That is great costumer service, I wish all companies were like Freud.
Thanks again, Pat

Freud and Lee Valley set the bar high for the rest of the woodworking world, and Steel City only has to continue their track record to join them. Kudos to all of 'em.
Glad to hear it, and not really too surprised.

That's what I thought. But the insert sheet included with my new Fusion says that they do, and gives the address to send them.
"But the insert sheet included with my new Fusion says that they do, and gives the address to send them." Perhaps things have changed then. At one time, there was a company they recommended, IIRC, but I don't know if that info's up-to-date so I'll stay mum and let Charles M. fill in the blanks.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
If you are after the "best" blade rating then trying to control the sharping process would be a good idea. Back to factory specs and all that!
I just sent four blades, three Freuds and one Bosch, to Ridge Carbide's sharpening service in New Jersey. Very fast turnaround and I am quite happy with the quality of sharpening.
