The latest FWM Digital Magazine app update has been less than a successful experience, lost access, was fixed. Then I lost access to all but 3 magazines and still awaiting for a resolution. Anyone else experiencing issues with this ?

Android user here. I feel your pain! I keep having issues with the app to the point that I cannot login anymore. Whatever I try I cannot use it. Hopefully the issue is getting picked up. It would be a shame if we can't use the app.

It is disappointing that we are in our (at least) second generation of coders who can only 'drag and drop' and do not understand how a lot of the code really works. HTML5 has been around since 2008 and a lot of sites are still out of date. If you publish to the web you need to do your due diligence and QA. Things should work within standards . . . even though there are so many :-))
Same issue here. Lost half my FWW issues because of the app upgrade.
On the old app I had changed my email address. The fine folks at Taunton Customer service where able to link my old email address to my new one and I was able to see all my FWW issues.
I downloaded all issues in the old app.
Now the new app comes along and I only have the issues from my new email address. All the old ones under my old email address are not available.
The Zinio Customer service was unable or unwilling to resolve this. They say they can only restore my issue from the new email address.
I made several in app purchased in the old app of several “Special Issues”.
I provided Zinio Customer Servcie with the ITunes receipts.
Still none of my Special issue purchases are available.
They referred me to Taunton Press Customer Service. I have called twice in the last 6 weeks only to be told they are aware of the issue and are working on getting all the Special Issues into the new app. So far only the Yearly Tool Guides are listed under the Special issues. None of the one I have purchased.
It’s becoming very fustrating.. The new app should have never removed the existing issues downloaded……
I spoke to someone today about this. Long story short they truly are working on it. Apparently, if anyone had a lapse in their subscription status it created two subscription records. The app is only recognizing one of them. They're fixing something... but I don't have a time table yet.
Also, the special issues... long story. They're working on that too.
I know it's not the best of answers, but it's what I have right now.
Since I read this post and commented on it, decided to open the app. Haven't opened it in at least six months. Logged in and restored purchases. I don't see those previous purchases. They are not in "Library"tab. How do I identify the previous purchases I made?
I've reviewed the suggestions on this post and noticed they are the same as having been mentioned before. As far as working on it, these problems have existing for some time. Lost purchases are common. I have the same issue last year and before.
I gave up on the ipad app last year because of these type of issues. Could not recover issues in some cases. If I could depend on the app, I would get a subscription. Won't do that as long it is a fight to use it.
