I just had the pleasure of attending Garrett Hack’s 3-day workshop on ‘Precision with Hand Tools’.

Given at the Thetford Academy, Thetford, VT a few miles from his home/shop/farm, this workshop was Great! Lots of fun!
If you ever have a chance to attend this or another of Garrett’s workshops – do it. You won’t be disappointed.
There were only 8 students total, and Garrett gave a lot of personal attention to everyone – plus demonstrating many hand tool techniques. Demo – do. Not just a lecture. Lots of hand’s on.
Lots of the stuff covered is shown in his FWW video ‘tool cabinet’. That also is very instructive if you haven’t seen it.

I took a class from Garrett in May (Federal side table at Kelly Mehler's) and agree completely. Garrett knows how to build and how to teach. I look forward to taking another class from him next year.
