Hi, Would appreciate some help with this one! A safe method for removal of fiberglass gel coat from veneer without damage to the base veneer wood grain. Sanding is not an option since the veneer is almost micro thin. Any tried/true methods out there. thanks..fred

Gel coat is used on Camper Shells, Boats, Older Corvettes and other fiberglass applications. You may be best off contacting someone who refinishes these types of products. Try a specialty auto body repair shop or a boat repair shop.
