hi all,
after much lurking here and a few questioned to you fine people i finally finished one of my first big woodworking projects; a shaker style kitchen with 35 doors and a central island.
my problem now is some of the door rails have bowed so they do not follow the door which is next to it no matter how much adjusting and cheating i do. is it possible to bend them straight? is there a good technique or is it not possible. just want to know before i build replacements, only 3 doors.
thanks for all the info

Kevin,
Generally speaking I don't try to bend things back when they go astray. But there may be other tricks that will save you from remaking the doors. Best if you could post a photo of the problem, or at least a better description of what happened, in what plane it bent, and why.
