   Rich,

   I am new at using this service, so may not be using it correctly.

   Thanks for your help, I got some ideas from the data, may be enough

   to design my own stand, thanks a lot.

   I now have to purchase a globe to get the dimentions and mounting.

   I'll keep locking.

   I am new at it also.  I have no experience with what you are trying to do, so I just pointed to some examples.  I don't know if it is possible, but a cool idea would be a table that has a halographic projector hidden inside that projects the globe when needed;)

   Most importantly, good luck with the project:)
