In reference to Chris Minick’s article Blotch-free Staining, Has anyone had any interaction problems? Specifically, is there a problem with putting Shellac over the glue size and dye? I would think the denatured alcohol would soften/remove the glue size. My tests haven’t had any problems, but I have a big project to finish and I am just a little hesitant at this point. Any answers are appreciated.
