I will be applying veneer to 18” diameter mdf rounds that I will press in a vacuum bag. I’ve applied edge banding using a foam roller and white wood glue on the surfaces and then applied heat with an iron after the glue dried. The edge banding adhered very well. When I veneer the top and bottom, would the white glue work, or would Titebond III or some other be a better choice?

I use Titebond white glue and have not had issues with adhesion out of the vacuum bag. Good luck!
Good to know. Thanks!
In a vacuum bag, many glues will bleed through open pored woods, and effect finish. The best I've seen is Titebond Cold Press Veneer Glue.
Timely advice. I’m using a chestnut veneer and didn’t think about bleed through. Thank you.
I love my Old Brown Glue for veneering in a vacuum press.
