I have some remaining pecan & walnut 1/4″ ply and would like to use it on another project by gluing or otherwise adhereing it to some lessor birch 3/4″. It will add strength to the shelving and I can use up my 1/4″. My questions is how best to glue or attach? What about contact cement? Thanks, michael

Brush on yellow glue over the entire surface and sandbag it.
