Gentle Reader:
I need your guidance. Soon I will be laminating 1/8 strips of Ebony and Soft Maple. Since Ebony is very resinous, will TITEBOND III do the job? Is there a special technique you can suggest, such as wiping the Ebony with acetone before applying the glue? I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,

T III should work
Mike,
I don't do much work with exotic woods but the two things that are suggested for gluing up ebony is to use freshly machined wood and to wipe down the surface with naphtha just before gluing. Several people reported having good results using Titebond III for gluing the wood.
