I am building a bookcase out of MDF core VG Fir, I am assuming regular yellow wood glue if fine. Any comments?
Thanks N.E.T.

From my experience this should work just fine.

I've done a couple casework items making my own panels with 1/2" MDF and 1/4" hardwood ply on both sides and yellow glue has been great for this. The 1" panels make for a very substantial case, (read heaaaavy!).
Thanks guys. You're not kidding about heavy. I believe each 4X8 sheet is around 100lbs. In addition, the V.G. rough stock sends me looking for a needle every time I touch it. I should factor in 'strain and suffering' next time I give a quote.
