Last year I decided to take the plunge and get an impact driver. While searching for a place to buy, I came across Coastal Tools (www.coastaltool.com). They had the best prices, but I had a question so I called their 800 number. That’s when it got crazy. Not only did an actual person answer and, not only were they freindly,,,,,,, they were actually knowledgeable about the tools they sell! To cap it off, my tools arrived promptly. Recently though, I had a problem with one of the tools. They completely took care of it. No hassle, no fuss, no muss, just the same great customer service I had gotten before. Customer service and low prices; not mutually exclusive after all….

If it is the same Coastal Tool located in West Hartford CT, I could not agree more. I live in CT and have visited their store many times, from its humble beginnings in an old Hartford house to their current location. They have always been great to deal with.
<<from its humble beginnings in an old Hartford house>>If you're referring to the Sisson Avenue location, you're right, it was humble, but great! I really miss that store -- especially trying to get in and out of the parking lot on the side. But, onward and upward, their new store in West Hartford is nice too (ironic that it's right across from a Home Depot). Great people -- knowledgeable and very helpful. For all the internet customers out there, try them online -- same great people, and very competitive pricing.
