What is the best shelf pin drilling jig out there? Has anyone used the one that Woodworker’s Hardware sells for about $115?
I’m wanting to drill 5 mm holes 32mm on center.

Brian,
The Veritas 32 Cabinet Making System from Lee Valley is a rock solid investment. It offers a wide range of variations for different applications with ease of use. (See link below). It's likely you won't need the complete system - you can buy only the pieces you'll need. (The manual is available on the Lee Valley site for a free download.

Thanks for the link. I saw this in another catalog, but it wasn't the complete set like this. It looks nicer than the WWH version because you can set this one to drill 2 lines of holes at once, and know that they're even. I especially like the capacity to join panels with dowels using the same jig. This is probably what I'm after, as I'm getting ready to build a set of kitchen cabs. I hate to look at the Lee Valley catalog though, because they always have things that I "need".
Glad to be of help. I'm with you on the Lee Valley catalog demon. That ever so fine line between "need" and "want" can blur without missing a beat!

I have a Veritas, and it is just a couple of rails and hold downs, fairly simple. I love it. It is about 8 years old.
