I screwed up so, I need to separate and reglue a joint that is being held together by a butterfly key. I was supposed to apply glue to the whole edge and the butterfly key, but I forgot to glue the edge, I only glued the key. To take the joint apart, I only need to break the key out of the slot it is in. My intention is to pare out the key slot (without getting into fresh wood) and then reglue the piece.
My question is, will gorilla glue hold to a piece that has been previously glued with gorilla glue?

Dave,
I'd try in on a peice of scrap first. You may have to rough up the glue to get it to stick. My experience with gorilla glue is that it will bond almost anything.
