I am a 72 year old intermediate woodworker.
I have 2 Grandsons, currently 3rd and 4th graders.
I want to build each a students desk that is special and unique. This would be a desk that they would use through their student years at home. A computer desk is probably not what I am after since the young folks today use laptops and hand held devices.
I have been searching for such a plan for a couple of years and although I have found a couple of plans I feel that with the creativity and craftsmanship that exists in our woodworking community their must be some excellent examples.
Thank You in Advance for sharing.

Esteemed cabinet maker and FWW contributor Tage Frid once detailed how he was hired at a school where one of his first jobs was to make desks as well as workbenches for his students.
A measured drawing of which was in one of his books. "Tage Frid Teaches Woodworking" if memory serves.
Liked it so much I built one for my young son many moons ago. Had an adjustable tilting work surface and ample drawers for his collectibles which young people are wont to do. Tage's genius for simplicity and uniqueness can't be overstated.
Wish I could direct you to a drawing of it...but sadly I don't have it.
But it is in his book.
