Hello all , if I cut greenwood log slices and cover in epoxy to make a river table style table top will the green wood cookies still crack in time like they would if not treated or would the epoxy stop them from cracking as there not exposed to drying in the air ? Thanks for anyone who answers .

The epoxy will not realy adhdhere to the wet wood and it will be a total disaster.
Thank you for the answer !
A friend of mine years ago had an art exhibition at a major NY gallery.BIG deal for a young artist! It was an installation of blocks of roplex(sp) with all sorts of organic matter in them...ears of corn, that sort of thing. Installed the exhibit and before the opening (this was not planned)they had all exploded and Jackson Pollacked the entire interior of Castelli Warehouse with rotten veggies! Maybe something like that can happen to your river table! Come to thing about it,that's not a bad idea!
