I recently purchased a used grizzly G0580 band saw. I’d like to get a riser block for it. Grizzly is all out since this is an older saw. Are there any other options that would fit this ? Been scouring all over to see if there is a cross reference for these things but I came up empty. Do any other GRizzly riser blocks from other models fit ? Am I just going to have to buy one and then drill for the pins ?

It looks to be your typical 14" cast iron Delta clone. I would suspect that many riser blocks may fit out of the bow or with very minor drill/pin mods.
Don't forget, it's not just the riser block. The front and especially rear blade guides are critical for safety.
I know, I want buy a kit with all parts and not just the riser block. But I don't want to guess at it. I can certainly drill if necessary.
I don't know if you are thinking that you will be able to resaw larger stock with this saw and a riser block. The motor will still be the same under powered motor, only 3/4 horse. Resawing wide material is really hard on the motor. I have done the same thing and ready to spring for a bandsaw that is bigger with more power. I will keep the 14 inch to cut out curves etc. and set up the bigger band saw for resawing.
Grizzly would be the people to ask as to wether the 0555 riser block would fit. I have the 0555 and while I don't think I'd have a real fun time trying to resaw 12 inches of oak, I'm glad I have the riser block when I want to do 7 inches of cherry!
Ben, precisely my thoughts. A 3/4 hp motor with a good blade cut a 5 1/2 piece of oak like butta ! If the need arises, I can use my table saw to reduce that resaw cut. I'll contact Grizzly today and report back for all.
Well of course Grizzly said that it is specific to the model. They won't have any kits until July 10th. I was just hoping to find something sooner than that.
I have found one, but I am not sure this is legitimate.

Seems like the product reviews are straight up copied from Amazon.
