Curious if anyone has any information regarding the Grizzly Hybrid tablesaw. I am considering purchasing this saw as space is limited in my shop and the light weight saw seems to be more manageable yet has the features of the larger cabinet saws. Any information would help thanks.

I'm familiar with the fence system on the Griz but only know the trunnion design from a "cyber glance" and the online manual. Since user input is sparse, I'll toss in my observations. The hybrid design in general definitely has some plusses relative to a traditional contractor saw. It does offer some of the same advantages as a cabinet saw, although with less power and a lighter duty rating. I'm finding my 22124 hybrid to have plenty of power to cut anything I've needed to near full blade height. Motors in this power range are more sensitive to blade selection than a 3hp cab saw but do really well for a hobbyist. They also have a smaller footprint and better DC than contractor saws in general.
The trunnions are mounted from the table top, and offer a cast iron one piece blade shroud as connection between the front and rear trunnions, which is a more elegant solution than the beefed up connecting rods on many hybrids, but not as easy to align as the cab mounted trunnions on the Steel City or Craftsman. The drive system should be quite efficient, though I don't believe the motor uses a standard NEMA 56 frame, meaning if there were a motor issue outside of the warranty, your best replacement options would be through Grizzly or having the motor rebuilt. FWIW, there was a hybrid review from an obscure mag that rated the Griz most powerful of the hybrids. I've read a couple of positive comments from owners. At ~ 400# it should offer plenty of mass and stability, and should still be moveable on a mobile base. The Deltas, one of the Jets, and the GI are a bit lighter.
