My wonderful wife granted me money to support my habit for Christmas and I was looking at Grizzly’s small drum sander. I read that Jet’s 10-20 drum sander has quite a few problems with belt tracking, though the web (and this site) seems to be very sparse on the new grizzly. I can probably get either for about the same price. I don’t have the cash for the bigger versions, and doubt I will ever use anything bigger than 12 ins anyway. So you can save the talk about how great your big drum sander is. 🙂
Thanks,
dpr

Maybe mines a fluke, but I have the Jet 10-20 and have had no problems at all. I ran literally thousands of 2.5x9 inch pieces of oak, maple and cherry through it.
