I just received my Woodworkers Supply catalog. Featured on the face of the catalog was a new Parallel clamp. Not in the Bessey Red color; rather in the Yellow and Black of Gross Stabil. This intrigued me. I went to the Gross Stabil web site and at the very bottom of each page was a copyright notice from Bessey!
Does anyone know what the connection is between thw two companies is?

where on the site? I did not see that.
I am beginning to feel very stupid. I thought I was at the Gross Stabil sight last night. but I went to their sight just now and it is not the same page. I clearly shows an independant company; which was what I thought was the situation prior to my departure to lala land.
I don't know; maybe I need to improve the ventilation in my shop. Too many fumes?
Thanks for responding and pointing out my error.
Sweet dreams, maybe? I know this clamp thing is an obsession with us WWers, but Barrister, ya gotta get a grip! PUNishment !!!
I saw Gross Stabil clamps (color, style, etc) with Bessey to the right of them in the Woodworkers Supply catalog I got last week. It wasn't on the front page, but towards the back of the catalog. I have both brands of clamps and thought maybe Gross Stabil sold out to Bessey.
No, you have not losts your mind, if you have, I have lost mine as well, but that would not be a surprise.
the Gross Stabil are too sticky! they drive me nuts.
the jorgensen are to slippery..
the bessys still seem to operate the best..
I own all three.
