I am looking for plans for a 60s era fender strat…anyone know where I can get them?
Also…where can I find a good price on 8/4 curly or figured maple?
Thanks,
Aaron

Have you tried Stewart-Macdonald catalog? They're a luthier supply house out of Ohio. http://www.stewmac.com Also try Luthier's Mercantile at http://www.lmii.com I think.
Fender also has a web site and may be able to provide something for a price. If nothing else, try a google search and see if there are any other luthiers out there attempting to do the same thing.
Good luck,
Kell
P.S. Great guitar. I'm partial to Gibsons but that era of Strat is awesome.
Try Good Hope Hardwoods or Sandy Pond. Both advertise in FWW and you can get contact information there.
The best book on building guitar is "Make Your Own Electric Guitar" by Melvyn ####. I have this book, very informative it is actually the one by which all others are judged. Plans for the Fender Stratocaster are in this book.
The last name of Melvyn gets deleted. Must be an auto-censoring program. Search the internet on the title. You will see why the last name is censored!

The easiest way to get words through the censor is to just put a space between each letter.
you can get plans at http://www.mimf.com.
