My daughter is in Japan for a year and we will go visit her.  While there I was thinking of trying to acquire some Japanese hand tools – chisels in particular.  Does anyone know a good place to do this in the Tokyo or Kyoto areas?  Is there any advantage to buying over there?  Is there any ability to visit a forge or meet a Master Smith or other woodcraft related master?  Any advice would be appreciated.
