My father loves woodworking but he’s in need of a hands free magnifier with a light so he can see better when working on the details of his project. Would anyone recommend one. Thank you

I know you were probably thinking of something else, but all of his problems would be solved with these : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003UCODIA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Optivisor is a better made and well known brand, but I was surprised at the quality of these.
It takes a little getting used to, but it is the closest he will come to having "20 year-old eyes"

I have one of these. The magnifying lens is large and the LED lighting is excellent. Having the cover is great as it keeps the lens clean when not in use.

Lie-Nielsen sells them with an optional light and optional lenses of various magnification.
