Dont have that unit, I have a "2hp" 2 gallon unit that I got for 80 bucks that isnt too bad. I got it so I could drag it around rather than a 100' hose from my old compressor out in the garage. This is an oil lubed unit, very quiet and the quality is pretty good considering the price. Now I put "2HP" in quotes cause if this thing is 2hp, I''m about 20 feet tall.
If the unit is this one: ITEM 90385-2VGA selling for 110 it looks ok. I would not expect it to power high cfm tools, but it should be more than adequate for nailers and smaller impact tools. If you want to use it for spraying, especially conversion hvlp guns, I would look for something with a bigger tank. Stuff like the regulator/pressure switch wont be as high quality as pricier stuff, but its still a good deal at its current price.
Vincent,
I bought the 4.5HP, 21 gallon compressor (47065-2VGA) from HF a few months ago. I needed one with a better flow rate (CFM) for an HVLP gun. It has performed well for me -- no complaints. I'd like an even heftier unit but am limited in space, so the vertical configuration and overall size of this unit is a good compromise for me.
Good luck!

Hi,
As Bob said, I need one to carry around. I am so tire to carry the 20 gallons I current have it, so damm heavy. I need some that could be able to should nail guns sometimes. Thanks.vn
In your original post, you didn't say you wanted one you could carry around. You asked for input on a Central Pneumatic compressor. The compressor you asked about is not really a 'carry-around' unit.
