Hi All
Has anyone ever purchased a Harbor Freight planer before???
I have thier contractors table saw and 7″ jointer. Both required work to get up to speed but the price was worth the work for me on a very tight budget.
Take care

If you are pressed for cash and willing to mess with the machine, some of the HF machines, like the bandsaw and jointer, are low enough in price that you can get an HF when you couldn't afford a different one.
I don't think their planer is in that category, since it costs more than the low end Delta at HD for $180. If you had time to search, a used machine might be best for the money.
