I’m new to this forum so I hope this is not a worn out topic. In SC I have not been able to find a local source of specialty plywoods. Most of the suppliers locally sell birch and oak as hardwood plywoods. Special order makes cherry, maple, walnut and “mahogany” plywoods available. I read about lumbercore plywoods but have never been able to find a local source that can order any. Finally, I would really like to find out if and where imported plywoods like teak, jatoba, ipe, etc. are available. Are these products available without buying large lots? Thanks for any information.

Start at http://www.walllumber.com. Another good resource is http://www.woodfinder.com. There are a bunch of places that sell what you want and will ship to you. Depending on where you are in S. C. , you may be able to drive to one place or another. Good luck.
