Good Hope hardwoods is a good source for flitches, and Herbine Hardwoods is great for lumber.

Route fifteen runs right thru Leesburg and crosses the Potomac at point of rocks into Maryland. On up the road you come to Fredrick, the home of Hardwoods Inc 2 Warmans Mill Ct. Fredrick, MD phone 301 668-9663 On the way back to Leesburg, stop at farmer Johns roadside stand for good home grown corn and tomatoes and lots more. Loudoun County has lots and lots of fine wineries too. Welcome to VA.
John,
Chris (CP) Johnson, near Madison, VA, between Culpeper and Warrenton, has a terrific selection of curly maple, sycamore, and qtrsawn white oak, other fancy domestic hardwoods. Bit of a drive from Leesburg I guess an hr or so, but worth the trip.
I went to school about a hundred yrs ago with Calvin Sechrist, who may still (or may not) be affiliated with a family sawmill on top of the mtn between Loudon and Clarke county. Can't remember of it was off rt 7 or 50- rt 50 I think. If you find him, tell him Ray Pine said hi, haha.

Thanks guys.....
I am in the process of making the move now. Not an easy task considering I have a complete cabinet shop to move. The poor moving company does not know what they have coming...
