Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on the quality of Rigid cabinet saws , as compared with, say Dealt, General or Delta?

Ridgid doesn't make a cabinet saw, but they have a full size contractor saw (TS3650) and a jobsite saw (TS2400). Both are pretty well thought of...probably more so the jobsite saw compared to it's peers.
The 3650 is a decent saw, but has had some quality issues to iron out. Also, the aluminum/plastic fence is decent, but pales in comparison to the steel Biesemeyers on some the Deltas, the Sears 22124 and GI, the Delta T2, and the Grizzly, Bridgewood and Woodtek Biese clones IMO. It does offer a nice built in mobile base, so I guess it boils down to what's most important to you. Typically the fence has more impact on cut quality than most other features, and it's alot easier to add a mobile base than a better fence.
I have a TS3650 and use it almost everyday.I bought it because I needed a moble saw to move around in my small shop and got a life time warranty with it.I did some shopping around and I think the fence on it is pretty good and stays square while adjusting it.The herc-u-lift mobile base is nice and for the money I personally think this saw is hard to beat. They had some problems with the arbor where the theads run out and the machined shoulder starts. When you put a stacked dado head on there the second blade sits in this dead spot(giving you a dado without a flat bottom).Ridgid is aware of it and is replacing the parts for free If you get one of these with a problem.I am propably gonna keep mine and move up to a powermatic 66.I am glad that I bought the TS3650 and like I said I will keep it for a dado blade and misc. saw.If you can hook it up 220v what a difference. Also it comes with a 2 1/2" dust port built in and a 2 1/2" fernco works perfect to go between there and a 4" to 2 1/2" reducer.Im not saying it is the best saw but for me and the money I am satisfied. The cast iron top and extension wings are nice and a little top coat keeps them baby smooth and rust free.Good luck and do your homework the table saw is most likely to be the heart of your shop.

in my shop i have a general international. its sweet. for the job site i own the portable ridgid. i used it on a jobsite that also had a bosch and a dewalt. the bosch never got turned on and the guy that owned the dewalt found my ridgid made really acurate bevels. the warranty on the ridgid products makes them worth it. if you dont like it you can take it back, no questions asked.
