Has anyone used the Rockler Dove. Jig?
I am just curious if anyone has used the Rockler Half-Blind Dovetail jig? I noticed they currently have it on sale for around $55.00. I am looking for something to cut half blind dovetails only. I own a Leigh D3 jig but am looking for a simple jig for half blind dovetails. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

BSZYDLO,
I bought one about 3 years ago and used it a few times...it works well. It was my first time ever making dovetails, half blind or otherwise, and it took a bit of time to figure out the logic ...but, once there it produced. As I recall a collar and bit came with the unit....they needed to be changed. good luck
I own it and it is an excellent jig. It is cheap and effective. I would agree that a D-3 would be a waste of time for set up for just a half blind DT.
I find the half blind DT jigs in swap meets and in garage sales all the time, for $10-25. If you're not in a hurry, might want to wait. Here's a cheapie on Ebay right now:
