Has anyone else noticed that spell checker isn’t working on this site?
I can’t spell for beans, so I use it a lot. But, last two days, I get “error on page”. Is it the site, or should I figure out what’s wrong with my computer?

It works for me. You need to click on "Finish checking" for it to apply your changes to be applied though.

Must be my computer - it's been running like it has a cold for 3 days now.
I'm still getting "error on page" in the Java dialogue box on the lower left when I open it up, and the spell check functionality dosen't happen.
Rats!

Mike ,
I'm sure no expert on computers but ,,, depending on which operating system your using sometimes rebooting can help as well as disc cleanup , try removing and cleaning out all your cookies and offline storage , reboot and start from fresh .
good luck dusty
I too can't spell. Or write so well. Heh heh.
Spell checker dosent work for me either because of my Norton Internet Security software. I have to disable the software BEFORE I open the message posting page. Or I can wriet the message, dissable the software, go to "Preview", then go back to "modify message" (or what ever it is), then when the page reloads (with the security dissabed) I can use spell check. The same is true for posting pics.
Because of the hassle I don't bother with spell check, and no one seems to care. But then if you read my signiture you can see why....
Pardon my spelling,
Mike
Make sure that your next project is beyond your skill and requires tools you don't have. You won't regret it.
Humm, I hadn't thought of Norton Internet Security. I too, am secure with Norton.
I'll try disableing it ntxt time.

Remember that disabling after you write the message is not good enough, you have to disable before you open the write message page (Before you click "reply" or "new topic"). Or you can disable Norton, click preview then return to the mesage page.Pardon my spelling,
Mike

OK, I'll try them both and see which works.
Regretably, neither method works for me. I must have another problem.
Thanks for the help, 'tho.

The spell checker stopped working for me after I installed IE7 and then uninstalled IE7 because it wouldn't work with my e-mail. Once my e-mail was updated to suport IE& and I re-installed IE7 the spell checker started working again.

Your lucky(I think),I can't find spell checker, and I realy need it.
I've got this program (free) that installs with a button on the ie toolbar. Works pretty well.

It's not perfect - only works with english too.
And then I found that my web browser has a spell check, so away I go.
