I have a live edge sycamore! I noticed a light spot I thought was sticker stain but after planning and sanding it still there! Trying to figure out solution! I want to use just clear coat poly and I know I can’t hide it! Any ideas! I know I’ve taken off over 1/2 inch!

It's not a light spot. Everything else is a dark spot. You could wipe the rest of the board down with some oxalic acid to make the dark stain go away.
Thanks I did think about that but wasn’t sure!! I’ll pick some up in the morning give it a try!! I’ll post update how it works out!!
I'm keen to see how that works out. I haven't tried oxalic acid yet, but wish I had on my current project - teak veneer with all kinds of stain marks. So far the stain has evened things out in most spots, but not all :/
