I am new to not only this site but also to woodworking. I am going to be building a new bed frame and head board. My question is about the headboard. How could I attach the head board to the wall to hold it securely without having any exposed screws or holes showing.
Thank you guys in advance. This forum has already been helpful.

It sounds unusual to attach a headboard to a wall, but if this what you want to do,then this is an approach;
Cut and install a hanging cleat.This is a 3/4 or 1/2 ply piece about 6-7 inches wide,and almost as long as the headboard.Rip it in half at a 45 degree angle,one piece attached to the back of the headboard,the other screwed to the wall to lock the headboard in place.Plenty strong.
Thank you.
This is what I was thinking to do. Every time I move in bed I don't want to have the board bang the wall. The bed frame will only be ten inches tall so the head board will only be supported at the base.
