The last time I used Oxalic acid to remove iron stains on Red oak, it stained the wood a pinkish red color. Nothing seems to remove it, and it’s on veneer, so it can’t be sanded out. Is there a solution?

You might offset the reddish hue with very dilute water based aniline dye with a green cast to it. It would help if you can approximate the pink tone on scrap to allow you to experiment with the color, but you can start with very dilute dye and "creep up" to the right color. If you get the dye wrong it will mostly just wipe off with additional water, and if it is way wrong it can be practically removed with Clorox.
Make sure that you are gauging the color as it would appear after you apply finish--it can change pretty radically, especially with chemical reaction derived colors. A quick wipe with naptha or mineral spirits should give a pretty good guide to how it would look under most clear finishes.
