I have a CMT 855.502.11 drawer lock bit. I am wanting to use it on 5/8 inch thick stock. I have tried it up, down, and all around and I am concluding it is not designed for anything less than 3/4 inch stock. Agree? Disagree?
Bottom line — is there a drawer lock bit for 5/8″ stock?
Thanks,

Here are the instructions that WWW. EagleAmerica.com supplies with their bits. I may be of some help.

Planesaw,
Got to http://www.cmt.usa and download the pdf showing how to use that bit. It should work on 5/8" material, but it's aq different animal from the Eagle bit. Frankly, it ;ooks so easy I'd almost opt for hand-cut dovetails.
