Looking for a pushbutton switch that I can mount inside a cabinet to activate some LED rope lights when the door opens (like a refrigerator).

Here's one.

Thanks! That switch looks like it's designed for a specific refrigerator application, I am looking for something a little more general purpose because the cabinet is a built in and once installed it will be a real bear to have to replace something that is either a safety issue (connections) or just doesn't work right because of the door not being heavy enough.
Can you give me some requirements? Mounting style (threaded or press in), current rating, diameter desired, color ? I can check my catalogs.
The refer type in the link is a generic replacement, they come in two styles, round and square. Both are a press in design. The terminals are standard spade lugs and the switches are rated for 120vac.Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys. -- P.J. O'Rourke
@dgreen, thanks for the help.
- press in/screw in: I can build to accommodate either style. I could even surface mount it if necessary (the application is built-in cabinets in a bathroom).
- 120v
- color: walnut cabinet so darker is better
One last point, the door on this cabinet is not that heavy so any switch that requires more than a soft touch probably won't work.
I found this option over at wwhardware.
Would a magnetic switch work? Like the ones used in window/door alarms with a small magnet recessed in the door?
All,
Take a look at Steve Casey's article on cabinet lighting in the latest issue of FWW:

darn, my wife "cleaned up" my library (aka the bathroom) and I can't find that issue. I stop at 198... argh
It's the new issue, which should have arrived at subscribers' homes last week. If you click on the link on my earlier email, you'll get a PDF copy of the article.
to get the pdf version I have to pay another $15 to become an online member. To be really candid, the fact that I have to pay twice for the same content is irritating. It's your business but I think Taunton is being really short sighted with this approach, even if it is consistent with your other strategies around re-purposing the same content in different distribution forms.
Here Here!!
You can sign up for a 14-day free trial. And in that time, we hope, you'll find that there's enough unique, useful stuff on FineWoodworking.Com--videos, slide shows, and other things that aren't in the printed magazine--that you'll want to continue as an online member.
Fair enough, but if the slideshows and videos are enough of a compelling value, then why not wall them off from the rest of the content and give print subscribers the ability to download an electronic copy of the print article? At the end of the day you should be asking what is best for your subscribers and I'm pretty confident in suggesting that making them pay twice for the same content just isn't. Granted that $15 a year is $1.25 a month, but the optics of it are just bad for Taunton because it starts to feel like shakedown pricing. It would be like buying a .99 cent song on iTunes and finding out that if I want to play it on my iPhone it's going to cost me another .10 cents... not a lot of money but unnecessarily irritating. Please take my comments as a mild complaint, I'll still subscribe to the print publication and I won't be moving to Canada, but having said that, walling off your downloadable content behind a pay-wall is not good customer service.
Go to smarthome.com and look for "closet switch".
Go to your nearest electric supply shop and ask for a closet switch.
