I have been asked to make some food serving trays (for Japanese Sushi) with Poplar for restaurant use. These trays need to go through dishwasher (130 degree for 20 seconds). I have called General Finish and System Three epoxy, result negative.Is there any finish suitable for this purpose? Thank you for reading this message.

no finish will stand up to that abuse.
*bullet, thank you for your response to my post on finishing to go through dishwasher. My friend's restaurant is using this kind of serving trays, the finish looks like PU. There are also wooden salad bowl at restaurant supplies with clear finish, I am just not sure exactly which finish. Will do a little bit more research. Thank you.
